  Starting this April, the Dillsburg Arts Council (DARC) and Dillsburg Cultural Arts Center will be hosting a monthly Open-Mic and Showcased-feature artist, on 1st Thursdays!!
  
  Our premier open-mic event will be held on April 2nd. 6pm-8pm. Open Mic hour is first come first serve from 6-7pm, followed by the featured artist from 7-8pm

  We are proud to announce Donna Jean Foster as our first showcased artist! She is a local, multitalented singer/songwriter & guitarist and amazing human being ❤️✨

  Experience wildlife up close and personal while honing your observation and artistic techniques to capture nature’s fastest predator, the iconic peregrine falcon, or the delicate detail of North America’s smallest owls, the Eastern screech owl.
  
  In this 3 hour course–artist, tattooist, falconer & founder, Jade Chen will share their experiences working with wild raptors and being a professional artist.
  
  This course is perfect for young artists, new artists, and professionals. 18+
  
  
  This course includes a lecture, Q&A, photo ops
  *No touching or handling of raptors allowed
  
  
  Artist Bio:
  
  Jade has decades’ experience as a professional tattoo artist and fine artist, with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. They’ve exhibited at Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art,  traveled across the country to present live raptor education programs, while tattooing people from all walks of life.

  Come join the 4th Graders as they reenact the stories of the lives of Revolutionary War veterans at the Historic Monaghan Church cemetery.  Event will be held outside if weather permits.  Otherwise, event will be held inside the church.
